Gold-filled and Rhodium Jewelry
Our gold-colored jewelry is made of "gold-filled" material, while the silver-colored pieces are made from rhodium alloy. In both types, a layer of the alloy is applied to the base metal in multiple layers, which is then fused onto the base metal at a high temperature. This essentially fills and coats the base metal. The coating is much thicker than that of jewelry made using traditional plated technology, making them much more durable. They are equipped with a cathodic coating, which is an invisible protective layer. Due to their composition and protective coating, they are hypoallergenic. They contain some precious metal, but the amount is not significant.
Stainless Steel Jewelry
Another smaller group of our jewelry is made from stainless steel. These pieces are very durable. Their manufacturing process occurs at extremely high temperatures, creating an insoluble bond between the base metal (stainless steel) and the coating (e.g., titanium). This results in a very durable and hard surface. Stainless steel jewelry is often combined with silicone, enamel, or genuine leather.
Stones in Jewelry
Our jewelry is adorned with high-quality zirconia stones. The stones are set in a setting, and the microcrystals are glued in place.
What is Zirconia?
Zirconia is a very clever diamond imitation. It is slightly softer than diamond, so if it is constantly exposed to mechanical effects, it may wear. If soap or cream builds up on the stones, their shine may dull. In such cases, they can be cleaned with a soft, lukewarm cloth or running water.
Some of our jewelry features Swarovski© stones or so-called simulated diamonds. A simulated diamond means that the stone was created in a laboratory environment. It was not formed naturally, but artificially, under high pressure and temperature.
Our Jewelry is FASHION JEWELRY! With proper use, they can retain their beauty and shine for a long time, even for years.
CLEANING: If dirt gets on the jewelry, it can be cleaned with plain water or lukewarm soapy water.
WEARING: It is not recommended to wear larger, occasion-specific pieces, multi-stone designs, or wide, thick necklaces and bracelets for extended periods. These types of jewelry should be worn occasionally. Smaller earrings, rings, thinner necklaces, and bracelets are suitable for longer wear without removal. Washing hair, dishwashing with dish soap, bathing, or exposure to thermal water does not harm or discolor the jewelry. (However, friction during dishwashing, with utensils or dishes, should be avoided!) When wearing jewelry, it is best to put it on after bathing, moisturizing, and applying perfume.
AVOID:
- The jewelry should not come into contact with corrosive chemicals, cleaning agents, metals, or stones.
- Do not allow jewelry to rub against other jewelry (e.g., rings on adjacent fingers).
- While sleeping, the body tends to sweat more, and the jewelry may come into prolonged contact with sweat.
- In cases of extreme individual skin pH, prolonged wearing may cause discoloration. Therefore, it is recommended to remove wider jewelry that has more skin contact before sleep.
- Jewelry should also be removed during feverish conditions and excessive sweating.
